Today started out as a typical lazy Saturday. We slept in, had a big breakfast, took a nap, watched some Olympics and then... the phone rang. We were getting guests! First, Delores Danzer, a family friend called and was in town and wanted to see us. Then as soon as I got off the phone with her we got a call that Sabina (Evan's wife) and baby KayLee and mom were on their way through town as well and wanted to stop in. So we had very fun and busy afternoon. Sabina and KayLee are moving down to Pensacola, FL to live with Evan now. It was so good to see little KayLee as I don't know when we will get to see her again. I don't envy them driving from MT to FL with a 1 1/2 month old baby and a cat! Please pray that they will have safe travel! They will be staying at Merilee's tomorrow night in Missouri.
We had a nice visit with Delores as well. We had dinner together and it was fun to catch up with her and her family. It was simply wonderful to have some friends and family in our home. It is rare when someone comes through our way.
