It all started Monday when he decided that he could stand up in the middle of the room by himself, and oh was he proud of himself! Then I got him to take 2 steps! I have been working with him all week to "walk like Mommy does" and he took 4 steps in a row on Thursday. I'm pretty excited as you can tell. He has been taking his own time with this and Mommy is trying to be patient but the competitive side of me (yes, its there) comes out when I hear of all the other babies his age (and younger!) already walking. Oh, I know he will soon enough and everyone says to just enjoy this time before he walks so I will...

oh what wonderful pictures! Yeah for walking! Now Mommy's job gets even a little bit harder! :) Just kidding
He's getting so big! Man, it goes by quick, doesn't it? And I remember wanting Brayden too walk and crawl because of course he was this "wonder" child, and he crawled late and walked early --- and at 5 they'll all be in kindegarten together and it won't really matter. :-)
